Royal Mail Tracked 48

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to check if anyone else is seeing delays with Royal Mail Tracked 48 scans.

We dropped off several parcels at the Post Office earlier this week and tracking is only showing “Accepted at Post Office” with no further updates. Normally we’d see a scan at the distribution centre by now.

Labels were purchased through eBay as usual and this is happening across more than one Post Office.

Curious to know if this is a wider issue or just local. Any insight would be appreciated.

RM is on its knees, many delivery offices are having loooong delays, just search online for royal mail delays and you will see how bad it is, dont worry you have not been singled out for special treatment.

I get that but why is it that so many items arrive so fast and than some just take forever even if I'll send that at the same place

Some delivery rounds are lapsed on certain days, the walk I am on is the one in the town that gets lapsed regularly, the only way I can guarantee I get inbound post is if I have a collection booked for outbound post so they have to call anyway, it could be that the parcels you send sometimes arrive fast is because the buyer has a mail order return to collect.
