Refund prepaid postage labels

I have noticed that using the "simple postage" my prepaid postage labels have been over estimated (by weight) leaving me paying more for postage than I should be, without the option to refund or order a new one

I spoke with the buyer to inform them, cancelled their order and resent a link with 'custom postage' that all went though okay and I paid the correct postage

however, theres no option to get a refund on the prepaid postage label I ordered. Am I screwed?

With Simple Delivery you aren't charged for the label at all.  The buyer pays eBay for the label and then eBay pays the carrier directly for the label which is then supplied to you.

If you cancelled the sale then the buyer will have been refunded in full for the cost of the unused label.

Re: Refund prepaid postage labels

What about when Buyer pays? It comes directly out of your funds, so you defo pay for it. And why are people having to ask these questions to randomers in forums, why cant ebay make these things clear, why is everything so mystic.
