Postage cost.

When selling an item and buyer has to pay costs why am I charged the postage on my account details ?

Because ebay is not vinted, the buyer pays you then you have to purchase it from ebay or whoever you arrange the postage with.

I get that but the cost of the purchase price does not include the postage
even though the preference is set that way ?

Hello . Item I sold number 08-12416-66021 was sold for £150 plus postage of
£7.19 I only received £150 . I contacted seller and they sent me a screen
shot of a payment of £157.19 in total . I only received £150 according to
my account?

Look at the sale and click on the 3 dots the view order details ( it near the bottom of that list) you will see a breakdown of that sale showing item postage and all fees and the amount you will get, then from that final figure you will pay postage.

The £7.19 the buyer paid is for the postage label you have to buy to send it

 

So you will only end up with £150 after you have bought the postage through eBay 

 

eBay takes the postage money from the amount you are paid

You must have bought your postage from ebay so all that is correct, You will only receive £150.
