ParcelForce collection

Hi all,

Royal Mail and ParcelForce merged a couple of weeks ago which I expect may of you will of known.

Since then, we have been unable to get ParcelForce to collect items from our business despite a huge amount of effort trying on their new website.

We've been using ParcelForce daily for years and would prefer to continue using them in the future but just can't get a collection organised online.

I've tried to call them at various times of the day but waiting times vary from 35 minutues to an hour, so no easy answers there.

We have tried booking and paying for collections but the new website now just looks like the old Royal Mail site but with an addition of weight options to choose from as well as ParcelForce services.

So far we've had to take parcels to our local ParcelForce depot or the nearest Post Office. Trouble with the Post Office is Royal Mail collect them and they get taken to the wrong depot and seem to sit the there for a few days but do eventually get delivered. We only use the 24 hour service so 4-5 day delivery delay is just ridiculous.

We have been using UPS as a back up but not ideal.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: ParcelForce collection

Please clarify, it sounds like you haven't:

actually booked and paid for a collection on the website since the merger

spoken to a human on their Customer Service number

did I read that right?

Re: ParcelForce collection

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Yes, booked plenty of collections since then, ParcelForce doesn't turn up or Royal Mail (Postie) takes them and they get delivered 4-5 days later, not 24 hour delivery.

I've tried customer services a few times and told 40-60 minute queue, time I've not got at the moment hence trying here.
