In some cases the £5.46 is probably applied because you are sending to what Evri classes as a remote location. In those instances, best just revert to Royal Mail. However ALL my attempts to select Evri as a carrier are still coming out as £5.46, regardless of destination. So I still believe there to be a software glitch, possibly due to it misidentifying my home address as a remote location (which it most definitely is not!). Other people must be similarly affected. I’ve long given up on trying to get eBay or Evri to fix this and have been using Royal Mail and Yodel instead, whichever is cheapest/most suitable to parcel size/weight, etc. Still very annoying though when nobody listens to you!!

Yes I agree - I had the same thing and the address was an island in Scotland - Royal Mail do not impose such charges though - so maybe go with them for such 'remote' addresses.
