I paid for postage through packlink and sent it on the 30th aug, it's been successfully delivered on the 2nd sept. I've now (15th sept) received an email of packlink stating that I had extra charges for incorrect size/weight. It seems odd that I would have an email saying to pay an extra £2.50 for the incorrect size/weight even though the item has been delivered
does anyone else have this problem?

I've been caught by the price & description thinking that the Evri cost is for upto 15k, then had to redo the label and get a refund for the first one.
I have also now been charged an excess weight for something small & light that was in it's own box 7x7x2cm and packed in another small box. I thought it weighed at most 600g but they are charging me for 1.2kg. The item was posted on the 7th Oct & I just get notification now? When I queried the weight, they asked for photographic proof which I can't give of the packed parcel,
plus have had 2 breakages lately and trying to find the right page to claim is difficult. They didn't answer that comment when I replied to the excess charge.
Think I will do my own postage on new listings. Annoying.

Definitely, I don't know how they get away with lie. I even asked them for proof of the allegations and they throw the problem back at me saying I had to provide I wasn't the liar. Lucky I had photos.
I too have been hit with a broken parcel arrived. I emailed them the proof they wanted ie picture of the ebay listing and the damage. They got back to me said they wouldn't accept it as they needed the ebay invoice on jpeg or Microsoft word. not screen shot and also wanted a close up.of the damaged because they do not zoom in. It's so annoying and really bad customer service especially as I don't even own a pc just my phone and ebay app.

As one of the latest victims could I suggest that you raise this with the BBC Radio 4 program You & Yours to investigate as part of their consumers section where they seek help for people who are beating their head against a brick wall. I would do this myself but as I haven't used Packlink for so long I couldn't provide all the necessary detail which would help their investigations.
you can email them at: youandyours@bbc.co.uk

Thankyou for posting these experiences on here.
I too have received an overcharge fee this morning for the similar amount of £3.18! Despite my package being sent over a month ago, and it not being over weight.
i took will be boycotting packlink and have recently stopped using Evri for the same issue.

A parcel got damaged in transit and the item arrived missing half the pieces. Sent them all the details immediately, they closed the case saying they didn't recieve them in time!

Yes I have had exactly the same problem.
I sent a parcel weighing 970 grams. Paid the label for up to 1kg.
Parcel delivered and 2 weeks later they take £3.18 from my account saying the parcel weighed 1200 grams. It didnt my scales are very accurate and even if they werent 200 grams is a lot to be out.
Shouldn't be allowed to take the money from your account without your say so.

No I believe 15kg is £7.15 now. It's very confusing I know as pack link do not make this clear and are robbing people blind.
