I paid for postage through packlink and sent it on the 30th aug, it's been successfully delivered on the 2nd sept. I've now (15th sept) received an email of packlink stating that I had extra charges for incorrect size/weight. It seems odd that I would have an email saying to pay an extra £2.50 for the incorrect size/weight even though the item has been delivered
does anyone else have this problem?

Yes, i had a problem with Packlink. I sent a large parcel via Packlink on 7th April, it was within the dimensions set out on their site. Parcel delivered 8th April. On the 7th May I was charged £18 extra for excessive weight which i proved was wrong. I am still waiting for refund, but Packlink are a Spanish company and hate giving refunds.

Packlink is only an online platform who coordinate between the couriers and customers.
If you receive information that your parcel was over size or weight, the information has been sent to them by the courier who processed it. As you say, they are in Spain so can only work on the information from the courier which isn't always correct.
I use Packlink for 90% of my parcels and find that they are spot on with their communication and resolutions.
You get a response within 24 hours and have a named CS who will deal with the issue until it has been resolved.
If you have the proof that the information they have is incorrect, they will accept this and drop the charge. Much easier than trying to resolve it with the courier directly.
