I am writing to report a potentially fraudulent use of an Evri tracking numbers.
Item Description: Sony PlayStation 5 Pro Console
Why I Believe This Is Fraudulent:
1. No Delivery Received: I was at home at the stated delivery time, and no delivery was attempted. No one knocked, and no parcel was left at the property.
2. Invalid Proof of Delivery: The “proof of delivery” photo provided by the seller is a close-up image of a box that shows no address, no doorway, and no identifiable location. This does not constitute valid delivery evidence.
3. Suspicious Tracking Activity: The tracking history for this parcel shows only two scans:
· “We're expecting it” – 24 December 2025, 07:11
· “Delivered” – 27 December 2025, 18:15
There are no intermediate scans, which is highly unusual and suggests the tracking may have been manipulated or misused.
4. Third-Party Dispute: This tracking number was provided by an eBay seller in a transaction where I did not receive the item. PayPal has closed my case in the seller’s favour based solely on the “delivered” status, despite the clearly fraudulent delivery proof.

It's great you have all this detail. I am responding in the normal fashion first... in case this helps others.
Check the postcode/GPS details too, then ask eBay Customer Service for a callback (just keep telling AI you want to 'speak with an agent'). Explain as you have done here. When this happened to me CS refunded straight away. There is no use opening an INR case as tracking shows 'delivered'.
Yours is not a normal however because you have opened a PayPal dispute. eBay will not help once you have done this. So follow similar steps to appeal the PayPal decision. Good luck!

Third party payment. Paypal is not a bank so perhaps purchase future items using bank card or funds in ebay account.
