It's Simple Delivery that is messing with GSP sales to the USA.

I assumed it was related to US tariff shenanigans as mentioned on these forums but nope.  After going back and forth with various US buyers we discovered that switching to advanced options on shipping (turning off Simple Delivery) was the issue!

Why would SD effect sales to USA ???

SD only applies to sales in the UK not overseas..

International postage remains unchanged..

That's a very good question.  Let's see if eBay can explain...

I won't hold my breath. 

SD was definitely the problem, anyone else having the same issue with a US buyer and GSP, turn off SD and ask them to try buying again.

GSP has been removed as an option to many US buyers. eBay is also pocketing money for what should be 0 tax rated items

I am not using eBay simple delivery but I had a potential buyer in USA but they said that the gsp were quoting $70 for a small parcel. Think it’s more they have increase gsp charges. I was going to see how much it would cost to send royal  mail. Trouble is I don’t know anything about taxes etc that now get charged when posting to USA
