I recently sold 6 items to a customer who combined them in one basket, consequebtly eBay only sent me one label but the size of the items which are quite fragile meant that I cannot put them in one box.
I spoke to eBay support and after nearly 40 minutes and the 3rd agent, it was decided that they would send me an additional label.
I realise I could have asked the customer to cancel the order and then send him a revised listing for those that could be posted together. But this was an international sale, so not quite as easy to explain as it would have been for a UK buyer.
Initiially I was told you must send them all together in one box. My retort was "I have 54 items currently on sale, so your saying if someone bought one of each you're suggesting I put them all in one box"? That seemed to make the point and I was passed on to the next agent.
I would be grateful for other users thoughts on this, because the final suggestion was if this happens again give me a call and I'll send you some additional labels.
