How do I see if a label has been refunded?

Customer brought 10x of a product, size and weights all correct but eBay generated a pre-paid label that isn't suitable. Had to request a refund and buy 3rd party.

How do I track if the refund has been approved for the label? Otherwise I'm being charged twice for a label and effectively being scammed...

Doesn't say anything mate, just showed I brought a RM label with simple delivery, can't cancel it because it's simple delivery either

You have to request the refund within 14 days here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller

but it takes about 30 days to come through.

Ah I done this part already - but how do I know if it's been approved? Do I get an email or sorts?

Sorry, I don't know that.   eBay tend to fire off notification emails so I would have thought so but maybe not.

If you filled out the refund request correctly and WITHIN 14 days of the sale, it can take a VERY long for the refund. They quote 14 days but it has taken up to 54 days on some occasions.

They don't notify you at all. You will just see it refunded in your eBay balance.
