Evri Tracking mysteries - Seller dropped off item on Friday, but On Monday dropped off again

I am seeing the tracking of Evri for the item I bought.

The tracking shows clearly the seller has dropped off the item to parcelshop on Friday afternoon.

And then it shows, it is being sorted in sender's depot.

Saturday and Sunday has passed without any progress on tracking.  Then today Monday, the tracking shows the seller has dropped the parcel again.  And it is being sorted in sender's local depot again.

How is this possible?  Which is real tracking?  Friday dropping off the item to the parcelshop?  If seller dropped the item off on Friday, then how can he drop the item off again on Monday?

Had a few issues with courier delivery problems recently, and we are already worried again with the tracking not making sense.  Any ideas on this?

We wouldn't be able to assist much on this, as we are not able to see how carriers manage this kind of things internally. However, just keep an eye out on it, and it should eventually start giving you helpful updates. If it doesn't, or you don't get the item, and the tracking is still not showing you helpful information, remember that as soon as the estimated delivery date on your eBay account passes, you can open an item not received case to get a full refund.
