Evri Postable Dimensions

Hi, I notice that when listing an item on ebay with evri postable, it gives a max depth of 2.5cm. However, if I go onto the Evri website and order a label through them, they say the the max depth a postable package can be is 3cm. The package for the item I am listing will be around 2.8cm, so would be good if I can use the evri postable service through ebay. Otherwise, i'll have to purchase the label through Evri for the same service. Thanks.

Re: Evri Postable Dimensions

Yes they are... Still the same tracking and you can add insurance if the item has any value

Re: Evri Postable Dimensions

If you use evri postable it's not covered for loss or damage like their other parcel sizes.

Re: Evri Postable Dimensions

What you have to look out for is the list of items on Evri that are sendable but have NO COMPENSATION for loss or damage. The list is as long as your arm!!

Then why do evri say they aren't on their website?

Re: Evri Postable Dimensions

Surely if they let you send it and its insured for the correct value they have to cover it...
I've only made a few claims with evri over thecyears but every one has been paid out... It is a long drawn out process though and they won't pay out for at least 30 days after the dispatch date.
If its not insured though and they loose it. You will get no help at all. If you open a loss case they will take 7 days proberly do no investigating then just say its lost. And close the claim.
Luckily for me anyway I use evri for several parcels most days and have done for several years and there loss rate is very low.
Delivery service.... 8/10
Customer service 1/10 as they are usualy no help at all if you need to contact them. Even emailing an accounts manager you rarely get a response.

Re: Evri Postable Dimensions

Every evri parcel or portable has the same tracking info. Every evri parcel is covered against loss or damage if you opt for the extra protection insuring it for its correct value. If you send evri parcels at there basic price it dosent give you any protection so if they loose it. That's it your loss. They won't do anything to help or compensate you.

Well evri say postable parcels aren't covered.

Maybe someone who has had an evri  postable postable parcels lost would clarify this.

But I wouldn't use that service unless I'm prepared to take the loss.
