Ebay simple delivery

I'm beginning to suspect that the couriers (Royal Mail and Evri) used for ebay simple delivery have lower priority over normal users. I used to use Evri for my ebay parcels, delivery was pretty quick but now with the ebay system I have parcels arriving later than expected. The evri tracking on my latest purchase shows it's been at the national sorting hub for 2 days.

I don't think RM or Evri were fully set up to deal with the increase in parcels when SD kicked in.

Hence both services have declined more than expected.

Did they not know that eBay private sellers would be barred from using other carriers  hence increasing their workload ? Maybe not then
