eBay need to look at these carriers and what seems to be exclusive delivery rights to deliver items to the UK from the US. It takes between 3-4 weeks to deliver items! EVRI are really poor carriers. No customer service and trying to get answers on delivery issues impossible but there seems to be no other postal  alternative provided by ebay. It may be cheap but delivery and service is awful. I don't blame the sellers but eBay by pushing this poor delivery carriers. While I can order an item from Japan and it's delivered through Royal Mail in 4 days!!! 

eBay get rid of DHL/Evri as your preferred carriers. I will no longer buy items from the US while they are the preferred carriers.

Sent via Royal Mail to the States last week and received happy feedback within 9-days. USPS (United States Postal Service) is very good, but the difficulty is they are not end-to-end couriers, so you are dependant on their local partner courier. Japan Post is also very good, as you say.
