Combining postage

If a buyer buy several items. Who combines postage? Me? Or eBay?

Ebay has done it for certain sales, but others not so. Buyers have complained to me that postage wasn't combined and blame me.

But in this ebay postage programme, I don't get postage fees, it goes straight to Ebay. I take my parcels to a locker, print label, and put chosen specific box depending on size for Royal Mail or Evri to collect. 

How do I change this to make combining postage easier. I've lost 2 sales because of this so far.

With Simple Delivery the items have to be bought in one transaction at checkout for them to be combined by ebay and you would receive one postage label.    If you get a lot of combined purchases it might be worth putting that info in your description.     Or they can let you know what they want and you can reilst the items on one listing.

For any current transactions you can cancel/refund and relist in one listing with one postage for the buyer to buy again.
