Combined postage with simple delivery

I have a bit of a dilemma and wanted to ask members what the correct thing to do is.

Yesterday I sold 2 lots of books to the same person all of which could be sent as one parcel. However my purchaser has already paid both lots of postage in two transactions. I have tried contacting them to cancel transactions and relist as one item to buy again with only one postage cost but have had no response. I don't want to rip her off but then again don't want an INR case opened against me if I send them as one parcel. What is the correct procedure to follow?

If your buyer has paid for 2 lots of postages I would post them separately,  posting together you are correct it could open up an item not received case, and you'd have no proof that 2 items were posted.

They are not replying to your solution to cancel the orders,  and relist as one so that leaves you posting them out separately for your full seller protection.
