Can I get a refund for unused InPost labels?

I bought two InPost labels not realising I couldn't print them at the InPost locker location. Instead, I bought Royal Mail ones and, providentially, for a change, I was able to print them and consign my parcels at the  Parcel Locker. So what happens with the unused ones which I have on my phone?

Can I get a refund for unused InPost labels?

Hi pillarboxred, thanks for your post.

If you click here, you can request a refund for any unused label. If they are eligible, you will get a refund in 14 day approximately.

Thank you,

Marco

I am currently away and will return on the 16th of December. Please expect a delay in my reply

As you are a business seller the link provided by marco@ebay won't apply (that only applies to Simple Delivery labels).  You need to follow the steps below.  Also, with Inpost you don't actually need to print the labels; you just need to scan the QR code at the locker or Yodel drop off point and Inpost/Yodel will apply the label once collected.

How to cancel a postage label

Labels purchased on the eBay labels platform need to be used within 14 calendar days. If unused, make sure to void the label within 14 calendar days to get a refund.

Here's how to void a postage label in My eBay or Seller Hub:

  1. Select Selling in My eBay, or select Orders on the Seller Hub Overview page.
  2. Select Postage Labels on the left-hand side.
  3. Select Actions next to the label you'd like to void, and select Void Label.
