Ah Evri - they appear to have lost the parcel, no refund to seller as its perfume(!)

I sold a eau de toilette set, (3 x 8.5ml set). Posted used simple postage via Ebay.

Posted 1st July, last update 3rd July "We're processing your parcel at our hub". I have contacted Evri twice via chatbot, so far no response.

Buyer opened a claim at my request, I requested a refund via Packlink, which has been dismissed as its classified as a dangerous goods ADR/LQ. They have however generously given me the money back for the postage - what an absolute joke.

Anyone have experience with this? What is the best way to deal with Evri? I am assuming that I don't have a claim against Evri either. Any advice greatly received.

You didn't use Simple Delivery if you used Packlink.

Evri have never allowed you to send perfume so I don't think you will be able to claim against them.

I am confused, I didn't use Packlink, that is where you apply for apply for refund when the delivery fails. I never even heard of it before this parcel has gone missing!

That item (Eccentric Molecules Discovery Set) was listed with custom postage not Simple Delivery which is why Packlink are involved.  Neither Evri or Packlink provide compensation for perfumes so, unfortunately, there is nothing further that you can do.

If you buy your label from Ebay, you are actually dealing with Packlink.

The little set of perfumes was not listed with Simple Delivery so you had to route your claim against Evri through Packlink.

However, as already stated, you were not covered.

You can post perfume with Royal Mail as long as it is in the original packaging (the box it came in) and you put an ID8000 label on the package.  Most carriers have regulations regarding transporting flammable liquids.
