Postage.

Why have we no choice of courier. ebay want to charge £5.21 for a parcel that only weighs 820 grams. They say it is a calculated weight, how can they calculate what they do not know ??. They have also stopped us seeing the buyers address so we can not send by other couriers cheaper. This is just another ebay rip-off like the buyer protection. If they can not solve this I am going to remove all of my for sale items.

You are having to use Ebay Simple Delivery because it is mandatory for all private sellers.

If you upgrade your account and trade correctly from a business account, you won't have to use Simple Delivery, you can choose and use your own courier,  and your buyer's won't be charged a Buyer's Protection Fee either.

Re: Postage.

When you list your items in the small parcel bracket you can choose between up to 1kg (£3+) or up to 2kg (£5+).

You could cancel with buyer's agreement and relist with correct postage for them to buy again.
