New E-bay balance system regarding withdrawals.

This information is for anyone struggling with the new ebay balance system when it comes to withdrawals.

I had a problem when you get to the pop-up that says £0.00. and then various other things below.   I didn't realise you had to enter the amount you wanted to withdraw of your available funds.  This is done by clicking on the £0.00.   After advice from a good samaritan I cracked it.   Ok, maybe I was a bit slow on the uptake.  However, I would suggest to the ebay I.T. people that it would be clearer in my opinion if this pop-up stated at the top of the page "funds available for withdrawal" instead of "£0.00" and shows the amount available and then "amount to be withdrawn".  Then navigate to the bottom of the page to confirm amount to withdraw.

Thank you, I'm mostly on a laptop and the only option is to sign out completely. I recon I need to wait for these microdeposits as there is a message in red on the laptop and on the phone. It might take couple of days apparently.

Yes, you will definitely need to wait for your bank account to be verified before you can withdraw funds.

I was trying to withdraw my funds last night and couldn't do it. I tried again this morning and eventually managed to do it. This seems to benefit no one but eBay. We can use our funds if we want to buy on eBay but if not when we withdraw funds we have to wait  0-4 days for it to be in our bank account. Or we have to pay to have it transferred quicker to our card. Come on eBay!!!!! This isn't right

When I withdrew my funds,  they were in my bank the same day.

Banks have different processing times, some are faster than others,  if you've experienced a 4 day delay.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I found my withdrawal was in my bank  quickly so that was good However I still don't like them holding my money instead of it automatically going to my bank account. I don't see the point of this change

This is currently not working, got on eBay chat and all of a sudden it said they had technical issues and to try later. Can't even get on to eBay chat to ask someone to ring me. Nightmare, I am awaiting payments in as well and they just say payment will be processed in a few minutes, that was at lunch time, still same message now

What interface are you on, seller hub or My Ebay? I could only access it when I switched tools to My Ebay which also shows your total sales adding up at the top of the page...

Don’t know, use the app on my iPad and first time I’ve had a problem, a buyer has problem paying me as well. Spoke to eBay and they say they’re having some issues at the moment and all should be resolved by tomorrow. If not will be another phone call, thanks for trying to help.

Oh I see. I am using a tablet and not through the ebay app. Have a go via ebay website not via the app as it may be that  whats causing the issues....

Remember though always try to opan an ebay case before a paypal case, because you cant open an ebay case if s paypal case is on it. If you open a paypal case an open ebay case automatically closes. Ebay guarantees the item or money back, and they get the seller to provide a free label. In your case, you can say that the seller doesnt want it back, they may escalate or simply refund you.

If i go onto this page there is nothing i can click on to be able to send money to my bank..literally nothing that will allow me to click on it..i have the blue banner with balance and all accounts..i can’t get my money…been on ebay chat and got some idiot who said it was to do with the email address..higly unlikely….anyone help??? Hi, are you on 'my ebay' selling page or the 'seller hub' page? I got nothing until I switched back to 'my ebay' the older selling page which counts down your sales at the top. That has the blue banner ehich you vlick on to eithdraw. Click:

payments.......it should come up then.
