Did you have any listing upgrades on your items,  for example a reserve?  That costs 4% of your set reserve,  payable sale or no sale and charged the second the item goes live.

Add any of the following optional listing upgrades, and they all come with a non refundable listing fee.

Reserves: 4% of the set reserve ( maximum £150 per item)

Subtitles: £2

Listing in 2 categories: 35p

Gallery Plus: £2.50 ( free for clothes and shoes)

Listings with duration 1 - 3 days 35p

As a tip, before clicking on the final List Item With Displayed Fees button,  glance just above it,  it should read £0.00 Listing Fee.

If there is a fee amount listed there,  you have selected an upgrade,  and if you wish,  it gives you time to scroll up and remove the payable upgrade.

In which case if the link I provided above doesn't explain any deductions ( it should),  then you need to contact eBay Customer Services, they have full access to your account,  and can explain any fee or payout for you.

One more thing to do before you contact CS check that you haven't accidentally promoted your listings.  With the link above showing the breakdown of transactions do any say ' ad fees' ?  Then,  promotions have been added.

If they are on existing listings,  you need to cancel the listing and relist deselecting the promotion or you'll ben charged again.

If you still need to,

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open for ' live agents' 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Hi jonsharp, thanks for your post.

If you haven't contacted our customer service team, you can confirm the item number, and I'd be happy to take a look no problem. However, normally when this happens, it is related to a deduction applied to your account. For example, if you sell an item, but you have an outstanding balance because of some fees, or refunds for other orders, we would deduct that amount from your recent transaction to cover that outstanding balance. After that, if you still have some balance left, we would send you that amount once you request your payout.

Hope this helps,

Marco
