Have a suscipicious case right now. Buyer opened an item not received case, left a weird comment not actually saying that he has not received anything but that time passed and he wonders if there is tracking. Tracking was provided and showed item was picked up at the buyer's post office two weeks before the case was opened.
3 days later I get an automated message from ebay saying this case is closed because buyer filed a payment dispute, wait for it, citing item not received... Since tracking in the case actually showed item as delivered, why ebay does not process this automatically? I have the option to challenge the case, and it says there to provide tracking, but there is no space to provide tracking, nor does it seem to update from the order details. There is just an option to leave a comment and submit a file. I am a bit worried before I submit anything as from my experience any case where ebay said to leave a comment and/or supply a document ended up being automatically rejected.
Is the challenge dispute procedure different and someone actually looks at this, or a bot is going to tell me after deadline sorry you lost and pay the extra dispute fee?

Go to the Royal Mail tracking page and enter the number, take a screenshot, ensuring it's in an acceptable format, and use this as the required evidence of delivery.
Your comment should read something like "Buyer picked up his tracked order from the Post Office when he was required to produce evidence of his ID along with the missed delivery card left at his address by Royal Mail when they first attempted delivery".
Do not elaborate or mention anything else, particularly not the previous attempt at INR... it will only confuse the issue at hand.
Case closed in your favour.

In addition to the advice already given in this thread, if you have not already done so by the time you read this response add the buyer's User ID to your Blocked Bidders List so that he/she cannot purchase anything else from you in the future and cause you any further aggravation.
