Why are Ebay doing this. I still send cheaper items by Royal Mail 1st/2nd class and 60% of the time these are never recorded by Royal Mail as delivered. How will I now be paid for these items as they will be be receorded as delivered? Also if buyer leaves positive feedback then that should also be as good as confirmed delivery and payment made based on this. Ebay will earn interest on this money and it will create a nightmare to reconcile. I personally only leave feedback once an item is delivered or I have received feedback as then I know the customer has received their item.

Payouts being held until after delivery only applies to Private Sellers.  As a Business Seller your payouts should be released once the buyer's payment is confirmed, as per your selected payout schedule.

This is a new change that applies to business sellers. Ie same terms as Private sellers with the exception that business sellers have to paid shop fees and high selling fees

My wife works sorting mail and the recorded delivery system has not been working often recently.
