Funds not released early despite fulfilling criteria

In the eBay policy page it says:

Items sent by post

Tracked: Funds will typically be available 2 calendar days after we receive confirmation from the tracked service that delivery to the buyer or pick-up location was successful. For example, if your order is delivered on Wednesday, you’ll get your funds on Friday

For tracked orders with a subtotal (excluding postage, fees, taxes) of £750 or less, funds will be available instantly if positive feedback is received from the buyer after delivery confirmation

My tracked delivery was confirmed and after that confirmation I received positive feedback from the buyer.  I contacted eBay to release the funds as their policy says that in that case fund are made available instantly. 

The support agent said:

I do understand where you are coming from with your funds being on hold, please understand our policies are ever changing and not all orders fall under positive feedback being left to get funds released.

So basically they can make up what they want!!!

Following on from then I asked the agent what condition were required for early release.  The agent then said:

"So when it comes to funds getting release instantly the item can not fall under simple delivery, your order was a simple delivery which is why it is awaiting 2 days after delivery"

Except my delivery was not simple delivery, it was a Royal Mail Tracked 24h Special Delivery, which is available under the custom postage option. 

They still have not explained the criteria for early release of funds.  The agent then disconnected the chat without replying to me.

I can't see any sold items on this account so i'm wondering if you sold an item on another account and that account has no selling history (or maybe no recent selling history) hence payments are held longer,up to 30 days iv'e read.

Just a thought.

No, it was on this account.  I am not a new seller.  You can see by the star next to my name I have 73 sales and 100% positive feedback.

Your feedback page won't load for some reason and if i look at your items for sale it shows nil and no previous sales.

It just says "Sorry. There seems to be a problem loading the page."

This page on a PC/browser tells me when I'll receive the payment into my ebay balance (which I then withdraw to my bank account.)

Does it show any useful dates or info for you?

Hi ukqualitybestdeals, thanks for your post.

I was checking for you there, and I can see you have a transaction that was delivered on May 31st as per the tracking details, and the funds were paid out to you yesterday, which would've been the 2nd day after delivery, so all looks good there for you. If you're referring to another transaction from another account, you can always ask the question from the account it was sold from, and I can take a further look for you. Otherwise, it looks all good from your end.
