Hi guys can someone give me some info regards
to choose one's own post stamps,
***************************************************
Tried to contact ebay for about one hour ,
but it gives a load of messages that takes you around the world
tells you everything but not what you need.
here is my question,

I am supplying my own postage stamps to my orders. but ebay have collected £2.25 from buyer
can someone clarify this problem.

It depends on the weight of the item and value.
If you can use a letter sized item under the wight of 100g and less than value of £10 then you do not have to use eBay's Simple Delivery and their postage, and you can use your stamps . If the buyer leaves feedback the payout can be released sooner, if they don't and there's no tracking, then your payout will be held for 14 days.

Hi tressy
Many thanks for your reply .
I Sell used cds , sale price 99p some times less , ``postage costs are about £2.50
And I sell used VHS videos , they weigh about 250 grams .
And the postage is £3.90 2nd class small parcel.
So if ebay automatically gets say £2.45 , off the buyer ----and I am using my own postage stamps
how does that work out , what are my earnings

The buyer is paying the postage to ebay as you have Simple Delivery on your listings. You need to disable that if your items come under the exclusions, but it is unlikely they will.
If you list with SD and use your own stamps, the buyer gets the postage refunded.

You may be better upgrading to business seller,
No buyer premium or simple delivery, set your own postage.
