royal mail

just asking, there seems to be no complaint process...

member for 5 years. only use royal mail when there are no other options as usually use yodel.

recently i have had 3 large parcels to send every single one royal mail has contacted the buyer and asked for £3.50 to cover postage result i am out of pocket obviously having to refund this!

2 of the items were in a4 envelopes on in a5 all letterbox size. i paid £2.70 large letter. then all of the buyers have been asked for an extra £3.50!!!

Royal mail are showing as a favored way to post by ebay but this feels like a huge scam and i am never using them again. just wondered if anyone else had had the same issue or if any one knows how to actually complain to ebay about their so called trusted couriers??

If you are absolutely sure that the packets were within the large letter size (you also refer to large parcels in your post?), then are you sticking the stamps on yourself and are they really well stuck?  If you allow the PO staff to stick them on they might come off in the sack.

It is unusual for RM to charge incorrectly.

they were all large letter rather than parcel. prepaid ebay label used and stuck securely. dropped and local counter where they measure and weigh anyway, i literally used them when yodel closed over xmas and recently for an address on the outskirts of scotland where no one else goes. typo with parcel ref i'm afraid.
