There is no phone number for eBay , it's a Call Back option and I would certainly contact them to remove that feedback, as that name calling should not be allowed, in my humble opinion.
I do advise though, to contact CS only very first thing tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. when the lines first open ay 8 a.m. for ' live agents', as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays
9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.
Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.
As said, I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

When you say you reported, how did you report?
This is correct procedure https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/leaving-feedback-sellers/handling-feedback-disputes-sellers?id=40...
but do not expect any help from ebay, they will just say it is the buyers opinion.
If buyer was unhappy with purchase, then they should have opened a Not as described case to get a refund, not just leave negative feedback.
You can reply to the feedback, but keep it polite and give your side of the story then any member reading it can draw their own conclusions.
If buyer was so annoyed, why did he not open a return case to get refunded?

Hi thanks for your help. I reported him buy clicking on report buyer i thought he was being unfair and he called me a con merchant and gave negative feedback and yes if he was unhappy why did he not do what you said ?
At one time there was a number to phone ebay ? but i cant seem to find it ? and also at one time you could get negative feedback removed ,can this still be done ?
Thanks Geoff

You should have received an email from Ebay when you reported the buyer - I have only ever reported one buyer in 20 years, but this is the final paragraph of the response from Ebay:
'We'll review your report with any other information we have, including reports from other sellers. Your report is confidential and won't be shared with the buyer. However, keep in mind that we won't be able to tell you about any specific action we take.'
So, you should not be expecting a further response. They may take action, but they won't tell you what they have done.
It is unlikley they will remove that feedback as it is the buyer's opinion. If you have an unhappy buyer, the best way forward is to apologise and offer a refund. Maybe take a little more care with your descriptions - you describe the plates as 'antiques' (items over 100 years old) then say they are 50 to 60 years old.

Ok thanks the error i made was that i thought over 50 years was a Antique but even though i did not deserved to be called a "con man" i did explain to him i had no knowledge of the item hence low price, bet if the plates had been worth alot of money he would not of complained. I have never tried to con anyone.
Thanks Geoff

I doubt ebay would remove, in any case doubt you would get to a real person.
Your best action is to reply to feedback, putting your side of the story, and making a point of the fact that buyer did not open a not as described case to get a refund. Anyone then reading feedback can then draw their own conclusions.
That is what he should have done, rather than just leave negative feedback.
