Why does E Bay no longer allow me to be paid via paypal

Ebay stopped paying into PayPal several years ago, you can still pay via PayPal. 

You need to add bank account as part of managed payments.

It does  allow payment by paypal, paypal shows as one of the options for payment, you just have to select it at checkout, but it is no longer paid to paypal, it goes to ebay managed payments then on to your bank, either when you withdraw, or psid quartely
