Yes,  other sellers do receive return requests for the reason, a buyer has received a broken item,  it's not a rare occurrence.

 

If this was a Simple Delivery transaction,  ask your buyer to open a case for a return and cite... Item damaged in transit.

 

eBay take over and pay the buyer their full refund , and you get to keep the original payout.
