I have been asked to click received on an order which hasn`t been delivered to me so the seller can get paid quickly , should I do this ?

Didn't know there was a ' click to say item delivered'.
Your item has not been delivered so you do not confirm it in any way.
The seller's payout can be held for various reasons and tracking on their part showing delivery can be one way to release the payout sooner.
Nothing you can do your end to facilitate a faster payout for the seller.

the problem is that it was originally to be picked up but I didn`t realise this and the seller refused to cancel. He then said he would post it to me but he is pressuring me to say I have received and I still have no tracking details.

The delivery status updates via the postal tracking. In any case don't confirm something that hasn't happened. The seller should have cancelled/refunded the transaction and relisted with postage for you to buy again.
If you don't receive it select "Report an item you didn't receive" on here:

and escalate it 3 complete working days later.
