my eBay account has been restricted

we have restricted your account because you have used the Ebay platform repeatedly to share contact information prior to completion a transaction or completion transaction outside of Ebay you can send a message to the other member. You cannot send a message. I have never contacted anyone outside of Ebay plus you wanted to it won’t allow you to put your phone number in. I have made 20 calls of customer service who said not prepared to discuss this matter as it will give away insider information I’m perplexed. I’ve recorded all the calls I cannot seem to get anyone that speaks English other than the fact that I’m supposedly contacted someone outside of Ebay, which I definitely have not any help on this matter would be a great help

eBay will never explain any restriction.

We cannot see any messages you sent or received because we have no access to your account, but if anyone asked to perhaps come and see an item you are selling before buying unless very strong message sent back that this was not possible until the item was bought and paid from through eBay checkout,  could be deemed as the beginnings o an off eBay sale.

If you have received a permanent or indefinite restriction that i a lifetime ban not turning back from that, but if it's a times restriction for example 7 days,  then you just need for this time to lapse to be able to sell again.
