Sellars Photo showed four retail packs of rechargeable batteries. Two packs containing four aa batteries and two packs containing four aaa  batteries.  I selected two to buy.   

It gave in small print below: the ' Price per unit '.

It turns out though this is the price charged for a 'single'  battery not a Pack.

Am i being unreasonable to think this is deceptive ?

If you have actually bought these and did not receive what you expected, it's open to you to use eBay's money back guarantee. But make sure that you didn't just misread the description.
