I have been trying to send a message about an item I might buy but can't type in my message and the Send Message button is greyed out, presumably because I haven't written any message. The virtual assistant is no help. I have tried 2 different browsers and have treid refreshing the page

Look at the screenshot below.
You need to start typing in the box - actually type over the letters where it says 'send message' then click on the arrow when your message is ready to send.

I have no idea how to send a message on the app or mobile browser, as I do not use those glitchy devices.
On a desktop I admit it's not that obvious either !
I'm on a laptop using Chrome, when you reach the Messaging page, bottom right click on Send Message, yep you haven't written it yet , said it wasn't a clear method!
Then again click on the flashing I symbol next to Send message, and it's there, that you type your message. When finished click on the upward tilted arrow.
I always click the box send to my email , then I know it's definitely been sent.

thank you. I didn't get the screenshot but found typing over the words "Send message" did work so hope the message went. Thanks for your help.

To ensure your messages are sent, do as I explained in my post above, tick the little box which says..... send to my email. When it appears in your email, you'll know you've correctly sent that message! 🤗
