hi I have bought an item 48hr tracked which didn't have any tracking info updated and diddnt arrive on time so I opened a case for a full refund . seller then sent item out it arrived damaged. iv sent phots and asked for a replacement on return but I couldn't return because of the case open for refund. iv been told by ebay on the 30 day money back guarantee I will get a full refund within 3 to 5 days without returning item as its broken . the seller has now put the price up by 4.99 still has the.item for sale . the seller is saying I need to return with a label he's sending me and he will issue a refund . where as ebay are saying I don't have to send back and they are issuing a full refund . what's happening please ?

This is the only time you can open a second case. First you close the NOT RECEIVED CASE, then

open a NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE. 

Not sure how ebay are involved before you have opened a proper case, so open now. If ebay really are refunding you should see that it is done, but NEVER go for a replacement, as you only get a case for first item delivered, second item would not be protected.
