Pending payment

Hi so My bank account says EBay has a pending amount of £8.99 but I use PayPal to pay for everything and I’ve just looked at my purchase history and I haven’t bought anything for £8.99. I rang my bank as i thought it seemed suspicious and they told me to contact eBay first who can help me with this please.

Log into PayPal and check payment. 

It will give breakdown, I.E. if you used PayPal funds or card or even part of both.

Ebay won't be able to give you any useful information whatever the bank thinks.  If you are absolutely sure this payment was not by you through your ebay account, or by someone you know with access to your debit card, then you need to pursue this as an unauthorised transaction with the bank.
