iPhone bought in December and now faulty

I bought an iPhone 13 listed as new/ near new but now is faulty and has a fault. Taken to Apple who said it’s a 3 year old phone and has a major fault, where do I stand and do I have any rights to claim or return. I can’t get anywhere with the online assistance and for agent call only gives option of USA but I’m in UK.

I'm afraid you only get 30 days to open a case with ebay for an item not as described,so nothing to be done via ebay now.

Contact your payment provider and see if they can help you.

You cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt.  If they are not,  a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy,  to return the item for a full refund.

If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund.  Yu can try your payment provider for help with your refund.

If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this,  then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps,  if you wish to take this further.
