I was trying to sell a boxed set of steak knives and had got a bid on them when it was removed by Ebay as it violated their knives policy. I have read through the policy ...it clearly states: "The following knives and bladed products are allowed: Dining cutlery sets that include only knives used for eating, such as butter, cheese, fish, or steak knives"
There are numerous active posts selling steak knives and many sold posts. I opened an appeal and just got an automated reply still saying my post had violated their knives policy. If I go back to the resolution hub there is now no option to appeal again. Is there a way to talk to a human being?

the knives have to be in a dining cutlery set.

Thanks for your reply. I thought they would be classed as a set as they are boxed. I'll have to add some random spoons and forks to the box! There are plenty of other boxed sets for sale consisting of only steak knives though. Very frustrating not being able to talk to a human being about it!

Try having a look at what the other sellers have put in their listings. It could be one word in the tit;e bar that the bots are picking up on.
