hi there, can somebody any insight to help me please. ive recently brought an xp pen 22 drawing tab from a seller. he was great to deal with, i put my offer in an he accepted it an ebay automatically took payment from pay pal. i went and collected it an left positive feedback when i got home. the seller has messaged me today asking if i can confirm its been delivered so ebay will release the payment. im not very tech savy but ive gone through everything i can to try an sort it but theres nothing i can find to confirm it. on the view order detail screen it doesnt give me any options there only to return item nothing for delivery. can any one offer some idea of what i need to do or what i can do to help sort this out for the seller. please..

You can't do anything. When the online postal tracking updates to delivery the payment should be released. However, if they are new sellers the money may be held by ebay for the max of 30 days.

You should have been given a collection code to share with the seller if it was a collection item.
Then the seller has to upload or add the code to confirm collection.
There is no facility on Ebay for a buyer to mark an item as received.

Put simply, the seller should not have allowed collection on an item listed for posting.

I agree with papo22,as the item was postage only no collection available on listing there wont be a collection code issued for the seller to enter and release payment,they will have to wait until eBay release their payment which may be up to 21 days as they are classed as an infrequent seller.
It's not a good idea to allow collection on a listing with postage only as a buyer could claim non delivery and without proof of delivery seller would have to refund and lose the money
