ebay AI removing my fire safety listings under breach of policy and recalled

so for the past few weeks i am battling a AI system that doesn't know what it's doing it is removing our listings without actually researching them a basically sticking them under breach of policy and they have been recalled  -when they have not and don't breach the very vague ebay policy

we sell fire safety products not diy stuff professional fire safety equipment that is fully compliant with global regulations ebay's AI doesn't understand so i picks up key words such as optical and removes the listing saying its unbranded when in fact they are some of the biggest fire protection companies on planet  we appeal all of these and believe it or not 50% are accepted and the rest are rejected when they are rejected they cannot give a reason or a website as they are supposed to to back up what they are saying we do our checks with the government websites and there are no recalls on anything they have removed !!! customer service are as much use as a chocolate fireguard   when we spoke to them and AI is still every morning removing our listings saying they are unbranded when i  fact they are fully branded and compliant and not recalled   and there is no evidence to support ebay removing the listings even if it was legacy stock its still compliant

AI is going through the appeals and just rejects them for fun how research can be done in 15 mins is unreal and is killing our business

Re: ebay AI removing my fire safety listings under breach of policy and recalled

Customer Services is now 24 / 7  however,  there are only certain hours when there's a ' live agent' , and only certain times when Dublin answer,  the best source for help when you need it.

Contact CS very first thing on a weekday morning when the lines first open for ' live agents'  at 8 a.m. there's more chance of Dublin answering.  Speak only to them, and see if they have any more answers for you .

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open for ' live agents' 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Re: ebay AI removing my fire safety listings under breach of policy and recalled

Spoke to customer service several times they have admitted there are issues with the new AI and there is nothing they can do  but that doesnt help me when they are unjustly removing listings that do not breach their policy and the appeals are been reviewed by the same AI system they said they are supposed to give us a link or website where they have found the recall or compliance change but the space for this link is always empty due to their been no recall or change in compliance

we have lodged complaints and have been told we will get a call from senior management and we are still waiting we are not new to ebay we have been selling for over 15 years on here without issues  but AI is now sticking it nose in where its not needed the government's official recall site does list these products at all  as having issues

deaf ears come to mind with customer service and the appeals system they either don't listen or don't understand what is going on or with the issue at hand

Lots of issues with AI.

We often report listings that are in violation of ebay rules,

but some come back as AI said NO issue.

Bring back a human!
