I don't like the idea of sending an item before being paid.
I sell a lot of old VHS videos which most normal people would have thrown out years ago, I don't like waste, and feel happy that my old tat has found a new home.
I don't sell very many, Royal Mail currently charges £3.75 for a small parcel, the new buyer fees will mean an old VHS video will cost around £5 before I see a penny. I can't see me bothering anymore, especially with the other added cost of paying for tracking in order to prove delivery.
The money I make on eBay, usually gets spent on eBay: If I make nothing, I spend nothing, eBay gets nothing.

Reading the comments on other posts I believe that I only need to wait 14 days to get paid if I decide not to buy postage through eBay (I can't imagine that they'll let me use my pre paid stamps) or pay extra for Royal Mail signed for (which doesn't always let me know it's been delivered).
If I waited two weeks before posting a sold item would I get paid that same day?
