A year ago i inherited 4000 of postcards and decided to sell them on ebay as I didn't know what to do with them. Due to the different styles I set up 3 private accounts just to get rid of them. A year later after loads of hard work listing 4000 individual cards I have now decided to close down all three accounts due to the recent Payment changes.
Overnight I have gone from having the funds into my account overnight to still waiting to be paid out on cards sold 20 days ago. For someone who sells items under £5 how can you add £2+ tracking postage on top the Buyer protection.
Its obvious the Buyer Protection is a ebay fee replacement but having to wait over 2 weeks for your money is wrong.
I know many have posted about this issue and yes this post is just to vent.
Goodbye eBay

If items are £10 or under then once a buyer leaves feedback to show delivered you would get paid after 2 days, this is already being rolled out to most sellers and should reach all private seller by the end of the month.
This is the only case where feedback can release payments though,so other items would need tracking applied

I have been told that feedback no matter how much the item costs will not release funds. I have over 10 items with feedback and still not paid out.
Why should i have to rely on buyers to leave feedback to get paid ???

I also use printed label from ebay for all postage and my feedback for delivery is 100% over £200 sat in my ebay account for the last month I cannot get anything except £0.34

Quote from ebay on the changes:
We’ve also heard your feedback and understand that shipping costs are particularly top of mind for low price items. When you’re selling a single item for £10 or less, and it’s sent untracked, funds will now be available 24 hours after you receive positive buyer feedback. This will be live by the end of February.

Really can now add to the above shockingly poor customer service. Laughing at me on the phone when trying to get funds released after parcel was signed for / positive feedback given and still no money.

If you post out items using a tracked service and the postal services online website shows as delivered, then ebay customers services should release your funds for the item as per what ebay have told us.
Unfortunately not all CS staff get things right when you speak with them.Maybe try again!
The actual ebay sites tracking is still not updating to show items delivered due to errors, which is why ebay have said CS can release payments until the site issue is fixed.
