has anyone else been charged a promotional ad fee for an item that was not promoted? this morning i was charged a hefty amount for auction that ended 2 days ago yet it was not promoted as i knew promotion was no necessary. it was a seven day listing and all week i was getting a reminder that i should promote the listing which i ignored.
i spoke to an help desk agent this morning and they said eBay never refund a promoted fee unless the buyer cancels the order. when i questioned them over when over the 7 day auction decided to promoted the item they could not answer. on the last day of the 7 day auction i was still getting a reminder that i could promote the listing if i wanted to.
very frustrated.
