Wrong item in envelope

Hi, l received an item packet of Twix instead of the cat item that l ordered l'm about sixteen pound lose as the seller sent chocolates instead, they must be so desperate for money that they're sending other items in the post and how do you prove that you received the wrong item? I took a photo. I had a witness who saw me open it. EBay gave them the benefit of the doubt.

Did you open an eBay item not as described claim?

If so, the seller should not have been able to refuse the return.

I am willing to bet that you opened a case for item not received as you didn't get the cat item you ordered.

If the seller was able to prove you got something then ebay will have decided that type of case in your favour.
