WINTERSAVE appeared on some of my listings which I knew nothing about

Does anyone know how I can remove this WINTERSAVE discount from my listings. I did not agree to this and my margins do not allow for discounts of this nature. 

Also, how can I make sure this type of thing doesn't happen again.

I can't see wintersave on your listings.

But, often these promotions are paid by eBay, seller still gets full amount.

I found details, minimum spend is £50, so won't show on lower value items.

Thanks for looking. The problem is that I often make less £ cash margin on higher price 9ct Gold items than lower priced silver product as it is so competitive. I often end up making about £10 on a £100 - £150 gold item, and if eBay now decide to give away £10 I will be making a loss.
