Under £10 under 100g Exemption to SD Query

So I see Kat eBay CS has confirmed listings below £10 and weighing under 100g have optional or excluded from Simple Delivery.

The under £10 part is visible to eBay but how is the under 100g part seen? All my listings (small pin badges) are free postage but there is no weight on the listing. I just dont want them all having £2.70 postage added automatically on a load of £5 listings.

I would think ebay will automatically impose standard SD charge if the weights are not the listings.   Sounds like you have some revising to do.

So looks like the exemption is not quite set up yet then?  It seems the only method of adding a weight and size I can see but sub £10 and sub 100g and  it's still priced as Tracked 48.

In the screenshot, you have not chosen Custom Delivery, so the price given is the one using Simple Delivery which has to be a tracked service.

I was under the impression custom delivery will not be an option after the 15th.

Re: Under £10 under 100g Exemption to SD Query

It will be for items that are exempt from SD.

You have to opt out for those smaller items.

Starting from 15 April, Simple Delivery will be the only delivery method available for private sellers when listing eligible items. The option to opt out will only be available for items under £10 and weighing 100g or under. We'll be introducing this change in phases over the coming weeks. Please see our Seller Centre - opens in new window or tab page for more information.

Re: Under £10 under 100g Exemption to SD Query

Thanks, what concerns me is there is no option I can see to add a sub 100g weight on my current listings other than the SD picture above.
Maybe certain categories such as pens, badges, postcards and stamps etc would automatically fall into the exempt from SD if under £10.
