Unable to find item using item number

Hi,

Have been given an item number by a friend but when I search using my account it fails to find the item.

I am in the UK the item is in USA. 

I am searching worldwide and all other options in regards to item condition.

Any ideas why i cannot find it?

Try going onto the .com site and searching there.
