Hi,
Too often, I successfully bid, or purchase an item through eBay that arrives broken. Either they are badly packed or badly handled by the courier, or both. Then back they go, or are disposed of. As the items I buy are vintage, and often fragile. It breaks my heart to find that my 'winnings' have been destroyed by someone else's carelessness. I would rather pick these items up myself if I have the choice and the seller is reasonably local. I wonder if there is a way I could taylor my search in eBay so I might only be shown pick-up only items to purchase rather than having to look through every item that catches my eye. Thank you.

You obviously have never looked at ADVANCED SEARCH. Plenty of options there including COLLECTION ITEMS.
There is also facility to select distance, where it bought you could ask seller if you could collect, although they are not obliged to agree..

Hi again,
I don't see any search filters near the search bar. Can you only see them on a computer as opposed to a mobile phone?
