Threats and offensive language appeal

A seller didn't like my negative feedback. I feel it was very much warranted. I don't often or easily leave negative feedback. 

There was no threats. No offensive language. No racial slurrs etc. 

They just didn't like it and thus reported me to eBay. 

I appealed. 

And eBay reviewed it and said they are upholding their original decision. 

Any rational human would see my feedback and see absolutely nothing wrong with it. 

What can I do??

If your feedback has been removed then there is nothing you can do.

I suggest you just put it behind you.

How is that reasonable or fair?

Seller doesn't like bad feedback, so reports as threatening or offensive and eBay rolls over?! 

eBay once again backing bad sellers.

It's neither but then neither is ebay.

Interestingly there are legal changes that will make it much harder for feedback to be removed.

I really don't get it. 

eBay protects sellers more than buyers but buyers are what make eBay money...

A seller can be a very bad seller AND lie, eBay says that's fine and puts a black mark against the honest BUYERS account!?  

That's fine. I've gotta accept it?!

You've told us what you didn't say, but to suggest why it was removed we would need to know what you DID say. 

eBay has specific rules about what must not be mentioned. for example, the most common is mentioning eBay's involvement in getting a refund, but there are others. Feedback policy violation entitles the seller to ask eBay to remove it.

Issue is it's now deleted... So I can't see it ... eBay also doesnt say what or which bit violated. 

I always keep my feedback short and to the point. So I'll try and recall;

I mentioned the seller claimed it to be brand new but item was worn and grubby, felt like a bit of a scam. 

It was one short sentence like that

What was threatening or offensive to mention I felt like the seller was scamming me?

Is this system so soft now? It genuinely looks like a scamming seller by his other listings.

You had no proof of a scam, but saying seller was a scammer, would no doubt be enough to get it removed.

You assume I had no proof. 

Images of the item in the listing verses what I got and his other listings say otherwise. 

I got nothing from the seller when communicating about it. 

eBay didn't want to know when reported the issue. 

So left negative feedback.

'Scam' is a bit of a slanderous vibe and eBay may remove the feedback.

You thought it was okay publicly to defame a seller as a suspected criminal just because you "feel" they may be??

You're lucky that eBay removed it. Plenty of internet users have discovered that making defamatiry accusations online can have real life consequences.

Ok. 

It seems everyone here is siding with sellers, just like eBay. 

In future I'll lie, just like sellers and eBay, and give glowing positive feedback even when a seller is clearly ripping people off.

Why bother having a feedback system if we can't be honest??!

I don't think we are siding with the seller, I think we are just not giving you the whole hearted support you seem to think we should.

There is a difference.

Try being a seller, you will see how little support ebay gives them.
