Hi I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem I'm having,
I listed an item which was sold fairly quickly,a couple of hours but the buyer hasn't paid for it a couple of days later
I received a message from the buyer asking me to email a photo directly to their email address, I'm new to selling on eBay but I sent it, I've still not been paid and I'm now wondering if this is some sort of scam ,has anyone else experienced anything like this before?
Thanks

I doubt it's a scam but if they don't pay you can issue an Unpaid Item cancellation after 4 complete days.. More info:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/getting-paid/resolving-unpaid-items-buyers?id=4137&st=
You don't need to reply or message them again before doing that.
Put their ID on your blocked bidder list:
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin
And use this link to put a general block on buyers with a history of non-payment, etc.:
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences
tick "Update block settings for active listings" and then save changes at the bottom.

If the buyer now has your private email address, make sure you disregard any emails to that inbox saying you have been paid.
When the buyer pays, your sold item will show in 'orders' under 'dispatch now' and it will be clear that the buyer has paid.
It looks to me as if you had provided plenty of pictures.

A very good chance you are being set up for a scam - take note of the other advice you have been given.
"why anyone would go to the effort of buying something knowing they've no intention of paying"
Their most likely intention is to get the item for nothing by sending you a false notice that you have been paid.

The scam would be to get you to post without being paid. By allowing buyer to have your email address, that gives buyer the ability to send fake messages outside ebay.
Never reply to this sort of request, always stick to using ebay messages.
If you do get and claims to having paid forward to spoof@ebay.com
As already advised, if genuinely paid, item will move from “awaiting payment” to “paid awaiting dispatch” and only post to address provide on the payment details. Posting to any other address and you have no protection.
Have you checked that in the event of loss or damage, your methods of postage provide adequate cover and are not restricted to £20?
